Service Technician - Intermediate

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program security and site-automation solutions. Service fire and CO detectors, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control. Follow wired/wireless technology and connection procedures; test and validate system signals with central monitoring to establish service. Serve as a customer-service champion, helping customers understand protection in their home. Requires reading blueprints/building/electrical plans, locating and fixing damaged equipment, readjusting/replacing inoperative equipment, and coordinating inspections with police/fire departments as needed. Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED required; minimum 2 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product lines; strong communication skills.
