Job Summary
Meet and connect with riders to identify needs, then provide options and advice on pre-set service menus, tune-ups, or a la carte repairs. Speak authoritatively on technical bicycle matters while assisting customers with product/service selection and filling out service work orders. Maintain general cleanliness standards throughout the day and reset at close of business, including light janitorial duty. Assist with bike sales through technical consulting and perform any other bike floor duties as needed. Proficiency in Lightspeed point of sale systems and store operational websites is required. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. This role supports Specialized's mission to deliver world-class rider care and drive profitable retail experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work as business dictates which includes weekends
- Ability to stand for extensive time periods
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more and use proper lifting skills
- Proficiency in Lightspeed point of sale systems and store operational websites
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
- Bike shop / Bike mechanic experience preferred
- Excellent communication with the ability to effectively interact with riders and team members
