Job Summary
Prepare apartments for occupancy by handling painting, drywall repair, trash removal, and mechanical, plumbing, and electrical fixes. Perform daily service requests and system repairs on HVAC, boilers, and appliances while executing carpentry, drywall, and interior/exterior painting tasks. Clean pools, monitor chemical balances, and maintain logs per city ordinances. Manage daily grounds maintenance including trash disposal, pet waste removal, and walkway sweeping. Participate in property improvements and preventive maintenance schedules. Expect to join an on-call rotation after 90 days. Ensure market-ready apartments and common areas meet Weidner's quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Successful completion of the Service in Training curriculum within 6 months
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs at a time
- Ability to use appliance dolly
- Ability to push/pull up to 200 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to be on feet constantly for entire work shift
- Ability to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
- Working knowledge of English
- Detail oriented
- Well organized
- Prompt, regular attendance
- Willingness to wear company dress code / uniform
- Ability to maintain professional appearance at all times
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed

- Willingness to sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
- Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation
- Driver's license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Unexpired vehicle insurance
- Vehicle must match the country in which associate will work
