Service Technician III (Master CFESA Certified)

Job Summary
Maintenance and repair of customer equipment in commercial kitchen and HVAC systems. Requires CFESA Master Technician certification with three of the four CFESA certifications; lead and mentor other technicians. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment; documenting tasks on a tablet; communicating with customers about required repairs and status; using appropriate hand and power tools; managing truck stock and ensuring parts are stocked; maintaining the service vehicle, uniforms, and tools; working independently with daily supervision; participating in on-call rotation on weekends/holidays and overtime as needed; participating in available training to increase skills; contributing to branch targets for response time and first-time fix rates; and performing other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Background check and drug screen required
- Valid driver’s license
- CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications
- 1 year of applicable experience
- Ability to work on-call weekends/holidays and overtime as needed
- Safety training and adherence to PPE policies
- Documentation of work orders and parts usage
- Effective communication with customers
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam-powered equipment
