Service Technician III (Master CFESA Certified)

Job Summary
Maintain and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment while adhering to all safety policies. Troubleshoot issues using proper hand and power tools, then document tasks via tablet for parts orders, work orders, and timesheets. Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair status and collect payment on COD jobs. Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked, maintain service vehicles and uniforms, and work independently under daily supervision. Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotations and regular overtime as needed. Contribute to branch targets for response time and first-time fix rates while obtaining correct part numbers through the branch parts person.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen
- 3 Years of applicable experience
- Valid Driver's license and driving record that all aligns with our safety standards
- CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications
- Must have three of the four CFESA certifications
- Must be assigned to the on-call roster
- Must be available for weekend/holiday on-call rotation
- Must be available for regular overtime
- Must adhere to all SAFETY policies and procedures
- Must use personal protective equipment
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment
- Must utilize tablet to document task (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis
- Must communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status
- Must use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools
- Must maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms
- Must work independently with daily supervision
- Must obtain correct part numbers through branch parts person
- Must collect payment on COD jobs
- Must contribute positively to branch targets for response time and first time fix rates
- Must participate in available training to increase skill and knowledge
- Must be trained in at least two skill sets
- Must demonstrate leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and train other employees
