Job Summary

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration commercial food equipment for Hobart Service customers. Diagnose complex HVACR systems, interpret schematic diagrams, and complete preventative maintenance while documenting all work. Lead advanced installations and generate leads to support branch financial objectives. Maintain company assets, follow safety protocols, and adhere to state and federal regulations regarding combustion emissions. Work normal business hours with occasional extended shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
4-7 years of food equipment service experience
2-4 years of HVACR service experience
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Climb up to 10 ft with an A-frame ladder
Occasional roof access
Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull
Move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
Operate machinery and/or power tools
Travel requirement up to 50% of time
Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines
Extended hours including nights and/or weekends
Early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
Ability to read and interpret standard service manuals
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
Demonstrate knowledge of sequence of operations for multiple operating modes
Knowledge of state specific and federal regulations related to combustion emissions
Skilled in use of various tools and equipment
Ability to read and understand safety guidelines of the business
Ability to approach job responsibilities with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and quality
Performs periodic visual safety inspections of vehicle and equipment
Ability to read and follow instructions
