Service Technician III - HVAC

Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes, performing preventative maintenance and servicing electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, and related systems. Maintain high-quality customer service, ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards, document service requests, and operate with dependable attendance. The role requires interaction with residents and vendors, on-call availability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure while upholding Progress Residential’s standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ general service and maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair)
- HVAC Certification from Technical College/Trade Program (preferred)
- EPA Certification Required
- Own basic tools for residential service
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to transport materials safely
- Comfort with on-call, weekend and evenings as needed
- Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations
