Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. Communicate with customers to resolve problems and promote products/services. Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories; inspect equipment; complete paperwork; collect payments; and coordinate with dispatch. Requires high school diploma/GED and 2+ years HVAC experience with EPA/safety certifications; valid driver’s license; ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant/duct systems; able to lift up to 75 lb and work in varied environments; flexible hours and on-call availability. Based in Austin, TX, with on-site work responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years HVAC experience
- EPA and safety certifications required
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant and duct systems
- Proficient at installation, startup, and balancing airflow on HVAC systems
