Job Summary
Performs diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories under general supervision. Communicates with customers to answer questions, resolves problems, and ensures complete customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customer. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and servicing HVAC equipment, inspecting and maintaining systems, handling parts delivery, and documenting activities for dispatch and customer records. Demonstrates effective time management and professional communication to resolve issues and uphold customer satisfaction. Represents the company professionally and adheres to safety and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA certification
- 2+ years HVAC experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to read wiring diagrams
- proficient communication skills
- proficient at troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant and duct systems
