Job Summary
Handle a wide range of repairs, from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance maintenance, while completing make-readies for incoming residents. Ensure the property looks its best through painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, adhering to a rotating on-call schedule. Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape. Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan for larger projects. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally. Requires 1-3 years of property maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and HVAC certification.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs
- A valid Driver's License
- HVAC Certification
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to climb ladders
- Able to work in various conditions
- Problem-solving mindset
- Great attention to detail
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Friendly and professional approach to working with residents and team members
- Comfortable using work order systems or mobile apps to track tasks
- Be able to work a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies
