Job Summary
Service Technician II responsible for completing resident maintenance requests and performing repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home maintenance. Operates both independently and with a team, traveling daily throughout the assigned market to service homes using company tools and inventory. Ensures compliance with safety standards and building codes, conducts regular property inspections, prioritizes urgent requests, and delivers high-quality customer service to residents. Requires strong technical skills across multiple trades, ability to read specifications, and proficiency with maintenance-management tools. Must be available for varied indoor/outdoor work conditions and extended field travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong background in residential construction, maintenance, and remodeling across multiple trades
- Experience performing repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, and general home infrastructure
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for extensive field travel
- Knowledge of building codes, municipal by-laws, inspections, estimating, and project planning
- Experience reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work
- Ability to use mobile devices and maintenance management software to receive work orders and document repairs
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standard operating procedures in property maintenance
