Job Summary
Service Technician II responsible for intermediate-level diagnostics, repairs, and part replacements on transit buses with limited supervision; support OEM service and warranty teams, perform campaigns and pre-delivery inspections, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues using manuals and schematics, utilize diagnostic tools and software, mentor Technician I, and travel ~70% to customer sites/vendors. Must possess strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, read blueprints and service manuals, and maintain OEM standards while ensuring safety and accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–4 years of relevant mechanical and electrical repair experience
- Valid driver’s license
