Job Summary
Service Technician I performs diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment under general supervision. Responsibilities include analyzing and diagnosing customer problems, performing HVAC service and maintenance, inspecting equipment, ensuring timely completion of tasks, delivering excellent customer service, and promoting products and services. Requires HVAC experience, EPA/safety certifications, proficiency with wiring diagrams and troubleshooting, and ability to communicate with customers and dispatch while maintaining workplace safety and compliance. The role includes flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed. Located in Grand Island, NE, with company-wide emphasis on customer satisfaction and professional representation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required
- EPA and safety certifications required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum Experience: 0 - 2 years
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
