Service Technician I

Entry-level Service/Repair Technician responsible for on-site support to Hobart Service customers, including installation and/or service of basic and/or advanced commercial food equipment. Duties include on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and completing service tasks on a schedule that may include on-call, after-hours, holidays, and weekends. Responsibilities also cover installing basic mechanical equipment, diagnosing and repairing basic mechanical/commercial food equipment, maintaining equipment and knowledge bases, following Hobart Service safety programs, and providing a quality customer experience while managing company assets, tools, and inventory. Requires mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in customer environments. Safety, time management, communication, and teamwork are emphasized to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in line with customer expectations and company objectives.
