Service Technician I

Job Summary
Service and install security systems in financial, commercial, and residential areas, including security systems, ATM facilities, industrial gates, fire alarms, and more in or around Kansas City, MO/KS. Analyzes malfunctions in equipment and replaces or repairs defective components, utilizing knowledge of equipment operation and repair. Removes and replaces defective electronic, electrical, and mechanical components using hand tools and following drawings and manufacturer’s manuals. Tests and operates equipment to ensure defects are corrected. Complies with all applicable laws and company policies; contributes to a safe, healthy, productive workplace; completes timesheets and paperwork timely. Hours: Monday-Friday with rotating on call; location involves walking up and down stairs and lifting up to 75 lbs; working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years work experience
- Knowledge of Bosch, Brivo, DMP, Diebold, Hamilton, Skilcraft, Ademco, CCTV, NCR ATM’s
- Will train on all technology and Devices
- Troubleshooting
- Ability to use hand tools
- Customer service
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Walking up and down stairs; Lifting up to 75 lbs.; Working indoors/outdoors in all types of weather conditions; Bending/crouching to work on machines; Working in confined areas; Climbing ladders
