Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex HVAC equipment including VRF systems, boilers, and chillers. Perform refrigerant piping installation, evacuation, and charging while reading wiring schematics and using proprietary software. Communicate with customers to address complaints and present training material in a classroom environment. Document service activities via work orders and daily time sheets. Independently manage parts ordering and maintain a safe working environment. Maintain current knowledge of installation, operation, and maintenance for all system components.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
- two (2) years related experience
- five (5) years related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software
- working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e., Smartphone, iPad)
- Valid Driver's License
- no major traffic violations for the previous 5 years
- EPA Certification
- Must pass TAPS background check
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor
- Ability to climb ladders and perform job duties at required heights
- Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required
