Service Technician, HVAC

Job Summary
Perform basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing activities on HVAC systems, including water-cooled and air-cooled chillers. Inspect and diagnose HVAC equipment, address electrical and mechanical defects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide documented service reports. Travel to customer sites to install, test, commission, and perform contract maintenance, with after-hours availability. Train junior technicians and contribute to upselling opportunities by recommending solutions to improve facility efficiency. Maintain inventory and uphold company image through professional service. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of commercial/Data Center HVAC experience; valid driver’s license; strong diagnostic skills; ability to read schematics and work plans; and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or suitable equivalent
- min 5+ year commercial and Data Center HVAC experience
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
