Job Summary
Service, repair, breakdown, and installation work on wheel service and vehicle hoist equipment. Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant repair solutions while completing tasks to manufacturer specifications and company procedures. Test equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation, manage on-site jobs efficiently, and escalate issues as required. Adhere to all WHS policies, identify hazards, and accurately record labour and parts usage in company systems. Maintain required licences, certifications, and safety documentation while contributing to continuous improvement and exceptional customer service outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Trade or technical qualification relevant to mechanical, electrical or automotive equipment
- Current driver's licence
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Experience servicing, repairing or installing mechanical or electro-mechanical equipment
- Field-based technical experience in a customer-facing environment
- Exposure to wheel service and/or hoist equipment desirable
- Strong safety awareness and disciplined work practices
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Clear communicator with customers and team members
- Willingness to learn and develop technical capability
- Professional, respectful and solutions-focused approach
