Service Technician - Hepson Equipment

Job Summary

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues in agricultural and heavy equipment while performing preventative maintenance and inspections. Test and verify equipment performance to ensure work meets quality and safety standards, then complete accurate work orders detailing labour time and parts used. Maintain a clean, organized shop environment and communicate service findings clearly to customers and Service Advisors. Collaborate with Parts and Service teams to support timely repairs, report hazards promptly, and support apprentices through on-the-job guidance. Participate in manufacturer and internal training to stay current on evolving service practices and contribute to departmental process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's licence
  • Journeyperson Agricultural or Heavy Equipment Technician certification
  • Previous experience servicing agricultural or heavy equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Experience completing equipment inspections, work orders, and service documentation accurately
