Service Technician -

Installation and repair of machinery/equipment. Performs a wide variety of semi-repetitive tasks including machine operation, sub assembly and assembly to build routine units per work instructions, parts lists, diagrams or work orders. Repairs and installs belting off-site and on customer’s equipment; submits service reports; inspects equipment; demonstrates understanding of joining techniques and tools; follows departmental and production procedures; observes safety rules including confined-space procedures; identifies materials for installation; reports nonconforming materials; participates in corrective actions and problem solving; conducts in-process and final inspections during installations; operates machines, sets up parts production; reports equipment problems; maintains machine safety and cleanliness; may handle various adhesives/solvents; physical tasks include use of tools and physical exertion; high attention to safety and quality.
