Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems while performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines. Complete repair orders thoroughly, communicate vehicle status and timelines with service advisors, and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant workstation. Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training to stay current with evolving technology, and mentor apprentice technicians as needed. ASE certification is preferred; prior dealership experience and proficiency with diagnostic tools are required. Valid driver's license and ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment are essential. Own a set of personal hand tools, with specialty tools provided by the dealership.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or shop setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple repair orders efficiently
- Own a set of personal hand tools
