Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of CNC machine tools at customer sites and company facilities; trains customers and internal team members on proper installation, service, and repair procedures; documents actions in service software and reports parts and repairs the same day (within 24 hours); collaborates with internal and external teams to resolve issues; seeks process improvements and maintains safety standards; requires an Associates degree or certification, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a passport; willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed; manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and moving machinery; benefits include medical/dental/vision, disability insurance, PTO/holiday, 401K with match, and parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or certification in the troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC Machine Tool Products
- Minimum 2 years experience in the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of Machine Tools Products
- A valid Drivers License, a good driving record, and the ability to “legally” operate a company “Service” vehicle or personal vehicle for company business.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated self-starter and effective planning and organization skills
- Ability to participate as a member of a team
- Ability to use PC and job-related software/programs for programming, documentation/record keeping
