Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers, including sectional, roll-up, and specialty systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues using testing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Adjust and align doors, springs, and tracks while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines. Provide professional communication to address client concerns and maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Prepare detailed reports on work performed and future recommendations. This full-time position requires overtime as business needs dictate and involves lifting heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in garage door installation, repair, or related mechanical/electrical fields
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials safely
- Must be available for overtime as business needs dictate
