Service Technician - Fort McMurray

Job Summary
Execute field service requirements including installation, maintenance, and repair of wellheads while delivering exceptional customer service. Maintain assigned service units, tools, and spare components; deliver, assemble, test, and paint wellhead assemblies. Provide customer property repair as needed and support sales and customer relations activities. Ensure in-depth service records and reports are maintained while conducting all operations in strict compliance with safety policies and procedures. Travel to other branches for training and assistance at field site locations. Perform shop and vehicle maintenance as necessary. Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 driver's license and willingness to travel are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 driver's license
- Must be able to provide a current driver's abstract
- Willingness to travel
- Must participate in an alcohol and drug test
- Must show compliance with Stream-Flo's Alcohol and Drug Policy
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of industry related experience
- Mechanical abilities and aptitude
- Service oriented with strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to safety
- Self-motivated, able to work independently without direct supervision and as part of a team
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of wellhead products and energy industry
- H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid and CSO Training
- Thermal wellhead experience
- Folding Boom Truck Crane – 22 tonnes and under ticketed crane, CraneSafe or equivalent certification
