Job Summary
Ford Certified Service Technician needed to perform repairs per repair orders with efficiency, diagnose and repair automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C), test-drive vehicles using diagnostic tools, communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional needed services and time estimates, and execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Requires 2+ years of service technician experience, High school diploma or equivalent, ASE and Ford certifications; dealership experience preferred. Expect growth opportunities in a family-owned Ford dealership that emphasizes service to customers and the community.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
- Ford Certification
- Previous dealership experience is preferred
- Dexterity, hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, eagerness to improve
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
