Job Summary
Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural, turf/construction, and forestry equipment while adhering to Technical Manual procedures. Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs, maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, and ensure the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment. Maintain a clean work area, follow all safety rules, complete required reports and forms, and account for time and materials used. Requires 1+ years of service repair experience, proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf/construction and forestry equipment
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
