Job Summary
Install, calibrate, service, and repair various types of scales and weighing systems, from bench to truck scales, ensuring equipment accuracy and compliance. Document all calibration and repair actions by completing inspection checklists and forms timely and accurately. Provide excellent service while interacting with customers and teammates. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a Class B CDL to operate safely across different industries and environments. Work beyond the typical Monday through Friday schedule, including occasional weekend assistance and after-hours premiums for critical business operations. Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and self-motivation to perform independent work with little supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL (non-excepted, interstate)
- Willingness to work beyond the typical schedule of Monday through Friday for eight hours
- Willingness to occasionally stay later to finish a job or be called for assistance on a weekend
- Safety mindset
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Clean driving record
- Post-offer, pre-employment drug testing acceptance
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate or 2-year degree in a technical field
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, industrial, electrical, or a similar field
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work well with others including teammates, sales managers, and customers
