Job Summary
The Service Technician supports Elevate Healthcare's mission by ensuring healthcare simulation equipment operates safely, accurately, and reliably through testing, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include functional testing, calibration, verification, and validation of equipment; diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using established procedures; ensuring products meet engineering specifications and quality standards prior to shipment or service return; documenting results and service history; interpreting schematics and service manuals; collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Support to resolve issues and implement improvements; supporting new product introductions and engineering changes; maintaining tools and work areas per company standards; and complying with safety, regulatory, and quality systems. Preferred education and experience emphasize electronics/biomedical/engineering technology backgrounds and 2+ years in related technical roles. The role is primarily performed in a manufacturing, laboratory, or service environment with potential overtime. Elevate Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of experience in equipment testing, calibration, repair, or technical service preferred.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
