Job Summary
Install tanks adhering to all state and local requirements including NFPA 58 and 54, and immediately report all incidents and accidents to the General Manager. Perform daily inspections (DVIR) of the truck, accurately complete and submit service orders, and document and bill for all parts used. Maintain a Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, assist with deliveries by driving a delivery vehicle as necessary, and work past regular hours or outside regular work hours as on-call responsibilities require. This role involves frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying heavy equipment up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain a Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience
- Basic understanding of computer concepts and usage
- Familiarity with propane systems, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn propane systems and installation practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments and weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for completing service orders and maintaining documentation
- Class B CDL License
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a related field
- Tanker/ Hazmat Endorsement
