Job Summary
Install tanks adhering to all state and local requirements including NFPA 58 and 54. Complete training and testing for required state licenses and certifications. Immediately report all incidents and accidents to the General Manager. Accurately complete and submit service orders daily while performing daily inspections (DVIR) of the truck. Document and bill for all parts used following sales proposals. Assist with deliveries by driving a delivery vehicle, as necessary. This role includes on-call responsibilities, as the needs of the company require that you work past your regular departure time or otherwise outside of your regular work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Class B CDL License
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience
- Basic understanding of computer concepts and usage
- Familiarity with propane systems, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn propane systems and installation practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments and weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for completing service orders and maintaining documentation
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must be available for on-call responsibilities and work past regular departure time or outside regular work hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a related field
- Tanker/ Hazmat Endorsement
