Job Summary
Service Technician at Dassel's Energy responsible for installing propane tanks and related equipment in compliance with NFPA standards and state/local regulations; complete required licensing and training; conduct vehicle inspections and maintain truck; process service orders and parts billing; provide seasonal delivery support; on-call rotation; on-the-job training including CDL endorsements and propane safety; strong safety focus and customer service skills; operate delivery vehicle as needed; work outdoors in varied conditions; documentation and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Class A OR B CDL
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- TSA Clearance Approved Hazardous Materials
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and participate in after-hours on-call rotation
