Job Summary
Service Technician responsibilities include unpackage and disinfecting medical equipment, matching returned products to RMAs and updating inventory, evaluating function against customer complaints, troubleshooting with engineering as needed, servicing and refurbishing electronic equipment, updating procedures for efficiency, applying software updates, collaborating with Customer Service Administrator and Finished Goods to fulfill orders, supporting data collection with Quality, maintaining accurate service inventory and safe, organized work areas, and performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications emphasize a high school or trade school credential, 2+ years in electronics manufacturing/service, troubleshooting ability, English communication skills, familiarity with MS Word/Excel and NetSuite, FDA/HIPAA compliance, and physical capability to lift 30 pounds; the role requires working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and self-starting reliability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or trade school equivalent
- At least 2 years experience as an assembler in an electronics manufacturing or service environment
- Technical aptitude with background in medical equipment or electronics maintenance, repair or manufacturing preferred
- Aptitude for troubleshooting electronic equipment
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in the English language with the ability to document and articulate technical findings to a variety of audiences
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Google Office Apps
- Familiar with Oracle based ERP system (NetSuite) preferred
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks while maintaining a high-level of accuracy
- Adhere to regulatory compliance policies to meet FDA and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Excellent written and reading comprehension and verbal communication skills in the English language.
