Service Technician

Service Technician required for in-field work-based out of Western, BC, with designated offices in Oliver and Osoyoos. Responsibilities include identifying, troubleshooting and correcting service problems in the outside plant from the mainline to the customer’s premises, maintaining the outside plant network, and delivering superior customer service. The role includes working with an in-house technical and safety training program, and requires strong problem-solving, technical aptitude, and a customer-oriented approach. Qualifications mention travel throughout the region, a recognized Electronics program diploma, and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; a driver’s abstract and criminal background check will be requested. Physical duties include lifting up to 90 lbs, working in inclement weather, and working safely from ladders or bucket trucks near energized equipment.
