Job Summary
Diagnose, service, and repair John Deere agricultural and outdoor power equipment in both field and shop settings. Independently perform basic to complex diagnostics, document findings on repair orders, and ensure thorough maintenance of vehicles, tools, and inventory. Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, participate in required training, mentor apprentices and junior technicians, and uphold safety rules to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in John Deere equipment
- Experience using special tools and following Technical Manual procedures
- Ability to diagnose technical issues
- Experience with basic computer functions such as Service Advisor or equivalent diagnostic tools
- Positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
