Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of John Deere and related agricultural/outdoor power equipment. Performs field repairs as needed, maintains thorough documentation of diagnostics and repair orders, mentors apprentices and junior technicians, stays current on product knowledge, complies with safety rules, and participates in required training programs. Emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experience and sustaining equipment condition, tools, vehicles, and inventory in a dealer environment in Arkansas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in John Deere equipment
- Experience with diagnostic tools and Service Advisor or equivalent computer-based diagnostic tools
- Ability to diagnose technical issues
- Experience with use of special tools and following Technical Manual procedures
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer experience
