Job Summary
Service Technician needed to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer- and dealer-owned John Deere and outdoor power equipment. Responsibilities include field repairs, developing knowledge of technology offerings, documenting diagnostics and repairs on repair orders, participating in training programs, following safety rules, preparing required reports/forms, maintaining current product knowledge, managing vehicles/tools/inventory, and mentoring apprentices and junior technicians. Requires basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, experience with diagnostic tools and specialized tools, ability to diagnose issues, and a customer-focused, diligent work ethic. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is acceptable; candidate must be able to work extended hours and weekends. Location: Brinkley, Arkansas, US.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in John Deere equipment
- Experience using special tools and following Technical Manual procedures
- Ability to diagnose technical issues
- Experience with basic computer functions such as Service Advisor or equivalent diagnostic tools
- Positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
