Job Summary
Maintenance/Service Technician responsible for make-ready repairs to vacant units prior to move-in, with 24-hour on-call responsiveness as scheduled by the Service Manager. Performs repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as needed; inspects property, processes work orders, maintains inventory and supplies, and ensures grounds are clean. Requires on-call after hours, weekend shifts, ability to operate equipment, knowledge of safety standards, and willingness to transfer to other properties if needed. Strong emphasis on teamwork, professional appearance, and following policies in the Employee Handbook.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC skills - CFC certification
- CPO certification preferred
- Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills
- Knowledge of SDS and OSHA
- 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred, but not required. Will train if necessary
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
