Job Summary
Perform repairs per repair orders to Lithia Hyundai of Odessa and manufacturer standards, diagnose malfunctions, and road-test vehicles to verify quality. Maintain an organized workspace, document work and test procedures, manage standard tools and shop materials, and ensure vehicles are returned clean to customers. Complete required training and pursue manufacturer and ASE certifications; communicate effectively with dealership personnel to meet customer needs. Demonstrate automotive technical knowledge across lube/maintenance, engine and transmission repair, suspension/steering, brakes, electrical systems, hybrid/alternative fuels, HVAC, and drivability diagnosis, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Maintain grooming/uniform standards and adhere to dealership policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 ASE certifications (Should be an ASE Master Technician)
- Must have a valid smog license or state emissions certification (as applicable by state/city)
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older
