Job Summary
Service Technician focused on diagnosing and repairing engine components including diesel and small engines for agricultural, commercial, and consumer equipment. Performs complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance with a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion. Involves customer contact, diagnosing with diagnostic tools, and performing repairs. Requires owning and maintaining your own tools, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle varying shifts and after-hour calls. Preferred 2-3 years’ experience on diesel and gas engines and experience with John Deere equipment. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential. Training through John Deere University and comprehensive benefits are offered.
