Job Summary
Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, diagnosing malfunctions and executing repairs while communicating with the parts department. Examine assigned vehicles for additional safety or service needs, documenting all work and recommendations on repair orders. Maintain shop cleanliness, ensure customer vehicles are kept clean, and operate tools and equipment safely in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned and report machinery defects or safety issues immediately to management. Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stay current with technical bulletins.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of previous automotive technician experience
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to work with a problem-solver mindset
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Hard working with the ability to focus on the details
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to follow directions
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission
- Physically able to lift 20-80 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Must be able to lift 20-80 lbs
