Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cooling towers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and related HVAC equipment across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical facilities. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance while identifying performance issues and completing accurate service documentation to ensure OSHA and company safety compliance. Respond to emergency service calls via an on-call rotation and communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and equipment recommendations. Requires valid driver's license, ability to work at heights and in varying weather, and experience with commercial HVAC systems. Full-time role with overtime; based out of Elmhurst, IL, with field-based service across the region.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience with commercial HVAC, cooling towers
- Knowledge of cooling towers, chillers, pumps, boilers, hydronic systems
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
- Personal hand tools
- Overtime and on-call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC/R trade school training
- Experience with Marley, BAC, Evapco, or similar cooling tower equipment
- Knowledge cooling tower maintenance practices
- Experience working with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium
