Job Summary
Diagnose and repair maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more to keep the community running smoothly. Maintain property appearance and safety through grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, and snow removal. Walk grounds regularly to ensure curb appeal while delivering courteous customer service and addressing resident service needs. Manage, track, and complete work orders using software and mobile apps daily. Report to the Service Supervisor and work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Brings hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade
- Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role—bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable using technology like computers, tablets, and phones
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to keep the community looking great and residents happy
- A team player with a 'no task is too small' mindset
- Courteous, professional approach in every interaction
- Pass a post-offer criminal background check
