Job Summary
Conduct installation and maintenance of customer-related gas utility facilities, including service lines, risers, meters, and lights. Safely operate and maintain electric and gas distribution systems while prioritizing safety for self and others. Respond to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, after-hour calls, and customer complaints. Complete applicable apprenticeship training and adhere to on-call rotations with extended service hours, weekends, and overtime as required. Promote all products and services sold by the Company.
Required Qualifications
- High school education with vocational training or lineworker certification, or equivalent work experience acceptable to the Company
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical schematics
- Ability to work independently
- Valid commercial motor vehicle driver's license appropriate for the position
- Age of 21 to acquire a CDL valid for interstate travel
- Crane Operators Certification
- Ability to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Completion of the applicable Apprenticeship Training Program
- Availability for on-call rotations, extended hours, and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Lineworker experience
- Knowledge of electronic diagnostic processes at a level normally acquired through completion of post-secondary vocational training
