Job Summary
Service Technician – Class B at Suburban Mazda of Troy. Perform repairs per repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per Lithia and manufacturer standards; diagnose malfunctions; road-test vehicles; record and document work performed; maintain tool inventory and shop cleanliness; ensure vehicles are returned clean; complete required training; acquire/maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications; review technical bulletins; communicate with dealership personnel; uphold safety and grooming standards; work in a team to satisfy customer needs; several areas of repair expertise including engine, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and drivability; requires 3 ASE certifications and 3–5 years’ experience; HS diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license; drug-free workplace; equal employment opportunity statement.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 ASE certifications (Master Technician preferred)
- Three to five years’ automotive experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform repairs in lubrication and maintenance, engine, suspension/steering, brakes, electrical/electrical systems, HVAC, drivetrain issues; manufacturer training completion
