Job Summary

Diagnose, maintain, and repair agricultural and turf equipment using manufacturer technical manuals and specialized diagnostic software. Perform basic repairs on precision technology products while accurately documenting labor hours, materials, and work orders. Maintain tools, service vehicles, and inventory in proper condition, ensuring work areas remain clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements, including required PPE, while communicating repair status with supervisors and team members. Requires high school diploma, associate degree in mechanical or agricultural technology, and at least one year of equipment maintenance experience. Valid driver's license, forklift certification, and Basic Service Technician certification are mandatory. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb structures up to 13 feet, and work in varying weather conditions is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Associate degree in diesel technology, agricultural equipment technology, mechanical technology, or a related field
  • At least one year of experience performing equipment maintenance or repair work
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance using specialized tools and equipment while following technical manuals and established procedures
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems commonly used in agricultural and turf equipment
  • Ability to use diagnostic software, including Service Advisor, and basic computer applications
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for testing and diagnostic purposes
  • Valid driver's license
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic Service Technician certification
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, service manuals, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned work accurately
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

  • Climb ladders, equipment, or structures approximately 6 to 13 feet in height
  • Stand and walk for extended periods during the workday
  • Perform work in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions
  • Regular exposure to equipment, moving mechanical parts, noise, dirt, grease, and other conditions commonly associated with equipment repair and maintenance operations
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required based on job duties and safety requirements
  • Limited local travel may be required to support service activities, training, or customer needs
