Job Summary
Meet and connect with riders to identify needs, then provide options for pre-set service menus, tune-ups, or a la carte repairs. Speak authoritatively on technical bicycle matters and assist customers with product/service selection without bias. Properly intake all service work, schedule repairs, and fill out service work orders while maintaining general cleanliness standards throughout the day. Develop expertise in all merchandise to ensure accurate information and support bike sales with technical consulting. Work collaboratively with staff and local riders to deliver exceptional service that meets sales and profitability goals. Proficiency in Lightspeed point of sale systems is required, and the role demands regular, dependable attendance including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
- Must be able to work as business dictates which includes weekends
- Ability to stand for extensive time periods
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more and use proper lifting skills
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- Bike shop / Bike mechanic experience preferred
