Job Summary
Join Canadian Solar as a Service Technician to support, commission, and maintain SolBank Storage and broader BESS infrastructure. Key responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment, supervising subcontractors, and maintaining work orders and spare-parts inventory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in renewables, particularly with inverters and MV systems, and be comfortable with technical problem-solving in a field setting.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Electrical Technician
- 5+ years experience in service or maintenance within renewables or heavy industries
- Strong understanding of inverters, MV systems, and electrical codes
- Proficient with MS Office
- Clean driver’s licence
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain after hire)
- SCADA exposure highly regarded
- CMMS experience a bonus
- First Aid certified
