Job Summary
Commission CSI Energy Storage's Solbank Storage Power Block and perform preventative and corrective maintenance to adhere to warranty requirements. Manage Long Term Service Agreement obligations for Battery Energy Storage Systems, including Energy Storage Cabinets, Power Conversion Stations, and Ring Main Units. Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment availability, while overseeing subcontractors and developing standard operating procedures. Complete work order documentation, ensure accurate spare parts inventory, and perform proper LOTO and switching procedures. Support client training during commissioning and adhere to all health and safety rules. Requires OSHA 30 certification, 5+ years of service experience, and ability to travel over 50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment
- Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in a service environment
- OSHA 30 Certified
- Previous training and knowledge of inverters
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- First Aid trained
- Must be able to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)
- Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team
- Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct
- Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications
Desired Qualifications
- SCADA experience
- Previous experience with a CMMS software program
