Service Technician - Callaway House Apartments

Job Summary
Execute work orders in a timely manner, closing them out in the system and tracking progress. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, conduct inspections of public areas and resident apartments, and safely operate, maintain, and repair all facility equipment. Assist vendors by escorting them on-site and facilitate snow removal, landscaping, and curb appeal coordination. Maintain a clean and orderly shop, storage, and back-of-house environment while ensuring all tools and supplies are organized. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This role includes an after-hours on-call rotation for inclement weather situations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in residential facilities maintenance
- Must be available to respond and prepare to inclement weather situations, as applicable
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to talk/hear
- Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
