Job Summary
Service Technician at Bob Loquercio Auto Group performs oil and filter changes, routine maintenance, diagnoses and repairs basic automotive systems, conducts multi-point vehicle inspections, test-drives vehicles with diagnostic tools, communicates findings to Service Advisors, provides accurate time estimates for repairs, and completes warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes a clean, safe work environment, ongoing training and advancement opportunities within a state-of-the-art service department. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous automotive service or dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Physical requirements: lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, crouch, kneel, bend, and work in tight spaces
